Minister of Education Tariq al-Okbori discussed Friday with Director of UNESCO Office for Gulf Countries and Yemen Ana Pauliny and Director of UNESCO Regional Office Costanza Farina cooperation between Yemen and the organization in field of education, culture and sciences.
The meeting, which has been held on the sidelines of UNESCO Conference here, discussed projects implemented by the organization in Yemen.
Al-Okbori praised efforts of UNESCO for supporting education in Yemen, pointing out to Yemen's commitment and support to regional reference indicators associated with the fourth objective of sustainable development until 2030 in accordance with goals, visions and principles of the organization.
For their part, the UNESCO's officials confirmed their support to all relevant sectors and fields in the country in the framework of long partnership with Yemen.
