Asharjabi calls for aiding developing nations to adapt for climate changes

Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfeq Asharjabi stated that International Community must take practical steps to provide developing countries including Yemen with necessary support so that they can adapt to the impacts of climate changes.
His statement came as contributed today to the session of the most fragile 20 countries held on the sidelines of COP26 in Glasgow, Scotland.
The Minister cited the negative impacts of the climate changes that Yemen has not got enough resources to cope with.
He also confirmed Yemen's rejection to bear any burdens or commitments due to the difficult circumstances the fragile countries are enduring.
