The Charge D'Affairs of Yemen's Embassy in Qatar Mohammad Obood discussed Sunday with Qatari State Minister for Foreign Affairs Sultan al-Mereikhi mutual cooperation between the two brotherly countries and possible increase of working opportunities to Yemeni nationals in Qatari labor market.
Obood reviewed latest developments in Yemen and government's keenness on realizing inclusive and permanent peace in Yemen on the bases of the three references; the GCC Initiative, outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216.
The two parties discussed projects of mutual cooperation Qatar will implement in Yemen.
On the other hand, Obood discussed with Deputy General Director of Development Projects at Qatar Development Fund possible financing to do maintenance work to Qatari-granted power plant in Aden and finalizing financing other projects provided by Qatari Government, especially road projects.
The two parties agreed on doing maintenance work to the plant by Qatar to be operated next summer.
