Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

The assistant deputy minister of planning and international cooperation for the international cooperation sector, Mansour Zaid, chaired an expanded meeting in the interim capital, Aden, today, and discussed the mechanism and methodology for officially adopting information and statistics on IDPs by organizations and donors in humanitarian response plans.
The meeting included the relevant authorities from the government's side, the ministries of planning and international cooperation, the foreign affairs, the Executive Unit for the Management of IDP Camps, the United Nations, the OCHA office in Aden, and representatives of the International Organization for Migration and the High Commissioner for Refugees.
The meeting agreed on a number of measures to enhance coordination between the governmental side and international organizations regarding correct information and data and humanitarian and development interventions.
Zaid stressed the importance of obtaining data from its official sources and coordinating between the relevant authorities in determining the various needs and preparing future plans.
