Bin Mubarak discusses with UN envoy tragic situation in al-Abdia

Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ahmad Awadh bin Mubarak discussed Sunday with UN Envoy to Yemen Hans Grundberg via telephone call tragic situation in al-Abdia District in Marib where people are subjected to war crimes and crimes against humanity by Houthi militia.

He confirmed that Houthi militia commits revenge crimes against civilians and injured people, calling upon the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and to quickly intervene to end these crimes and rescue civilians.

The two parties discussed political situation in Yemen under Houthi militia's military escalation and bin Mubarak confirmed that Houthi militia neither owns war nor peace decision and that the international community must find real means of pressure against Houthi militia to stop violence and return to peace.

For his part, the UN envoy confirmed significance of ending violence in Yemen and commence inclusive peace process ending the war, humanitarian suffering and regaining security and stability in Yemen and the region.
