In Yemen's speech delivered by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Ammar al-Awlaqi, Yemen renewed warning of potential environment disaster over Houthi militia's continuous stubbornness and banning UN technical team to do maintenance work to Safir Oil Tanker, the long-stranded tanker on the Red Sea, carrying on board more than one million barrel of crude oil.
The natural disaster and effects of environment change have complicated humanitarian and environmental crisis in Yemen, said al-Awlaqi.
The round discussed environment situation in Yemen and confirmed necessity of providing support to Yemen's capacity building to protect environment.
