ADEN - SABA
Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Mua'mar al-Eryani has denounced attacking al-Abdia Hospital at al-Abdia District and a gas station in Marib Province by Houthi militia by two ballistic rockets.
In a statement to Saba on Wednesday, al-Eryani said the shelling of the gas station has killed six civilians among them two women and injured six others including children.
Targeting al-Abdia Hospital comes after statement by Public Health and Population Office in Marib on injuring 160 civilians among them children and women over the continuous shelling by the militia on Marib, he added.
" This criminal attack of the only hospital in the district coincided with barbaric siege imposed by Houthi militia {on al-Abdia District} and led to consumption of medicine reserve and medical requirements, stopping equipment over running out diesel and totally power off," he said.
The hospital was unable to provide its services and referring urgent cases to other hospital was not possible due to the siege, he said.
He demanded the international community, the United Nations and the UN and US envoys to clearly denounce the attack of al-Abdia Hospital as spiteful war crime and bring up the perpetrators of Houthi leaders to the International Criminal Court.
