Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik returned to the Transitional Capital of Aden coming from Cairo after short state successful visit to Egypt responding to an invitation from his Egyptian Counterpart Mustafa Madboli.

Prime Minister held mutual negotiations with Madboli and elaborated talk session on deep-rooted relations between the two countries, latest developments in Yemen and Egyptian firm support to Yemen and its government.

The talks touched upon Egypt's rejection to Iranian blatant interferences in Yemen and efforts of the two countries to protect safety of international maritime navigation in Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Red Sea, as well as coordinating positions towards dangerous threat posed by Safir Oil Tanker amid Houthi militia's continuous rejection to allow to UN technical team to do maintenance work to the tanker and drain it from one million barrel of crude oil.

Separate talk sessions were also held between Yemeni ministers and Egyptian counterparts on cooperation between the two countries in fields of electricity, energy, oil, mineral resources, health, transport and telecommunications and information technology.
