The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned, in the strongest terms, the Houthi militia’s continuation of its cowardly terrorist attacks on the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the latest of which was the targeting of King Abdullah Airport with two unmanned aircraft, which resulted in the injury of a number of civilians and residents in the Kingdom, as well as some material losses.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, "The repeated targeting of civilian facilities and innocent civilians, including airports in the southern region of the Kingdom, by the Houthi militia is a dangerous escalation and threat to the security and stability of the Kingdom, as well as a clear violation of the rules of international humanitarian law and a threat to the lives of travelers and to the security and safety of civil aviation and freedom of air navigation."

Egypt renewed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the measures it is taking to confront these despicable terrorist attacks, and stresses the close link between the security and stability of the two brotherly countries.
