Al-Eryani: International negligence towards Houthi genocides encourages killing Yemenis
[05/10/2021 05:34]
ADEN-SABA
Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Muamar al-Eryani has said the continuous blindness of the international community towards genocides and atrocities committed daily by Houthi militia against civilians in Marib confirms double-standard international position.

" The international's neglecting position towards mass genocides against civilians reflects negative messages to Houthi militia to continue its crimes and violations against innocent women and children," said al-Eryani in a statement to Saba on Tuesday.

He pointed out that the international community practiced pressure on the internationally-recognized government to stop military operations towards the seized Capital Sana'a after the national army advanced in Nihm District, which is 20 km. away from the capital under the pretext of dangers against the big number of citizens and complicating humanitarian situations.

" The same thing has been repeated with international pressure to stop military operations for liberating Hodeida Port and city after the battles were on entrances of Hodeida city under the pretext of the humanitarian situations and dangers on citizens and the safety of the city and ports' infrastructure," he said.

The United Nations sponsored Sweden Agreement, which Houthi militia has not implemented its articles, he added.

Minister al-Eryani pointed out that Marib Province, which hosts the greatest numbers of displaced people, has been experiencing barbaric aggression for years as Houthi militia targets populated areas and houses of citizens by ballistic rockets and drones and al-Abidida District is subjected to unjust besiege for weeks under shame international silence.

He demanded the United Nations, permanent members of the Security Council and the UN and US envoys to Yemen to revise their positions and to shoulder their humanitarian and moral responsibilities to exert pressure on Houthi militia to stop their systematic killing of civilians and blacklist the militia as terrorist.
