Al-Wuhayshi reviewed the ongoing military escalation of the Houthi militias in Marib and Shabwa.
He referred to the crimes and violations committed by the Houthi militias against civilians and IDPs, including killing and displacing civilians among them women and children. He stressed the importance of Russian intervention to break the Houthi siege on Yemeni cities and open safe corridors for humanitarian access.
He renewed the government's interest to reach a lasting peace in accordance with the three references.
For his part, Bogdanov indicated his country's awareness of the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Yemen, pointing to the efforts Russia is making to bring peace to Yemen and support the United Nations in this regard.
