AL-Sharjabi discusses with Saudi Program water, environment needs

Minister of Water and Environment Tawfeeq al-Sharjabi discussed Thursday with the Team of Saudi Program for Yemen's Development and Reconstruction headed by Director of Projects and Studies Hassan al-Attas needs associated with water and environment in Yemen and speeding up implementation of developmental projects by the program.
The meeting tackled water projects in different provinces, making developmental priorities of emergency projects associated with water and sanitation, stressing significance of implementing a number of key projects led by increasing production's output of Aden water fields for facing water and environmental challenges.
The two parties agreed on outline of mechanism and coordination between Yemen's water ministry and the Saudi program to boost the program's work in fields of water and environment.
For his part, al-Attas confirmed commitment of Saudi Arabia on continuing developmental support to Yemen through the program's projects and activities.
