[19/09/2021 05:10]
RIYADH – SABA
Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh met with the United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator in our country , to discuss developments in the humanitarian situation in light of the continued escalation of Houthi militias and their obstruction of relief aid.

During the meeting, the Vice President referred to the efforts made by the leadership of legitimacy and the government to alleviate the humanitarian crisis and the suffering experienced by the citizens as a result of the continued coup of the Iran-backed Houthi militia, and its adoption of the policy of starvation and siege, imposing taxes and diverting the humanitarian aid to finance its terrorist war on Yemenis, Yemen's neighbors and threatening the international navigation.

The Vice President touched on the crime of the Houthis targeting the port of Mocha and relief aid stores, their monopoly on oil derivatives, creating crises and looting salaries, in clear indications that the militia's talk in humanitarian matters is just to continue the war.

The Vice President stressed that the mass executions carried out by the Houthi coup militias in public against nine innocent hostages from Hodeidah, is the latest example of the group's bloodshed and terrorism, which places great responsibility on the international community and human rights organizations to condemn and reject these crimes in various ways.
