Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik presided over a joint meeting brought together Ministers of Electricity and Finance, governors of Aden, Hadramout, Almharah and Lahj and representatives of the Saudi Program for Reconstruction and Development in Yemen (SPRDY).
The discussions which conducted via video conference intended to assess the progress of the Saudi Fuels Grant aimed to support electricity sector and operate power generate stations in Yemen.
Dr. Ma'een expressed thanks and gratitude to the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their support for Yemen and the Yemeni people in different spheres, describing the fuels donation as very helpful at this moment.
The Saudi Ambassador to Yemen, General Supervisor of the SPDRY Mohammed al-Jaber contributed to the debates, reaffirming the Kingdom's support for the Yemeni government and people in all walks of life.
