THE HAGUE-SABA
Yemen's Foreign Minister Ahmed Awadh Bin Mubarak held a discussion with the Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Tom de Bruijn on the political and humanitarian developments in Yemen.
In a meeting in the Hague today, Bin Mubarak briefed the Dutch minister on the terrorist Houthi militia's continued killing of civilians including women and children by various means including planting landmines and massive recruitment of children to the warfronts.
Bin Mubarak also pointed out the urgent danger threatening the Red Sea region and international maritime shipping lanes as a result of the militia's denial of UN experts access to the decaying oil tanker the militia hold as a hostage in the Red Sea.
On his part, the Dutch minister affirmed his country's willingness to offer all forms of humanitarian and developmental support and renewed his country's concern over the stranded FSO oil tanker, which threatens to cause an environmental disaster that will go beyond the Red Sea region.
