Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik received today the Ambassador of the Republic of France to the Republic of Yemen Jean- Marie SAFA.
The discussions touched upon the latest developments relating to the UN-led efforts to reach political settlement, support the UN's envoy to push peace, put an end of the Yemeni peoples' suffering and stop Houthi militia's attacks on the IDPs in Marib and against civil facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Ma'een restated that the Yemeni government is keen on realizing peace, it has offered significant concessions to bring about but Houthi militia has continued to refuse to come to peace.
He also touched upon the ongoing developments about the implementation of Riyadh Agreement in full and the government return to do its job in the country.
The French Ambassador reaffirmed his country's supportive stance in support of the Yemeni government, French government's keenness to make the UN envoy's mission successful in producing political solution, ending the war.
He also confirmed France's support for the government return to Aden to serve the people, get Riyadh Agreement fully implemented.
