The Shura Council headship strongly condemned the ruthless crime carried out by the insurgent Houthi militia against army conscripts were doing exercises in al-Anad Airbase of Lahj governorate, killing and injuring scores.

It said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) " This is one more crime by the Houthis in their war against the Yemeni people, they are killing and destructing at the sight of the entire world, we're facing a gang its leaders are blood-thirsty, driven by a tendency for violence and destruction Yemen had never seen".

The statement continued to say" The Houthis are a replica of their predecessors' bloody picture, tormentors and criminals leading Yemeni toward a catastrophic end, they mistakenly believe that by doing so they can defeat the Yemeni people or prevent them from fighting to defend themselves.

The Shura Council added "The Yemenis will keep on fighting the Houthis as they did several times in the past, it happened that the Houthis ancestors had taken over Sana'a, but they had been defeated and driven out frequently".
