The Director General of Taiz Governorate Police, Brig. Mansour Al-Akhali, discussed with the UN office Security and Safety Coordinator Kamel Al-Ramadani and the Security and Safety Assistant in the organization's office, Fares Nashwan, the arrangements for the opening of a branch of the United Nations office in the city of Taiz.

The meeting touched on the security situation in the city of Taiz, and ways to enhance the role of security in securing the work of international organizations in Taiz and providing appropriate places for the organizations' missions and workers.

Brig. Al-Akhali confirmed that the security services, in coordination with the local authority, have provided safe and appropriate places for the work of international organizations, and that the Taiz police had taken all the necessary security and precautionary measures that contribute to protecting the work of international organizations and help them carry out their service and humanitarian activities.

For his part, the UN official valued the measures taken by the Taiz Police Department to secure the work of international organizations to ensure that they carry out all activities and provide services to the people of Taiz..
