Prime Minister, Shabwa governor discuss security efforts

Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik has discussed with Governor of Shabwa Mohammad bin Adyuo efforts exerted for boosting security and stability in the province and fighting readiness of military and security units to do their jobs in the battle of regaining the state and ending the coup.

The two parties also discussed ongoing conditions in service and economic domains and facing damages caused by floods swept a number of the province's areas.

In a telephone call with bin Adyuo on Thursday, prime minister heard from the governor to detailed report on latest developments of all situations in Shabwa and the central efforts for integrating efforts for facing damages caused by heavy rains and continuous developmental efforts and activating economic sectors.

The two parties touched upon steps achieved for launching Shabwa University next year in implementation to Presidential Decree on establishing a university in Shabwa for meeting educational demands.

Prime minister praised efforts exerted for protecting security and stability and the government's support to military and security units to perform their duties in all Yemeni people's battle against Iranian agenda.

For his part, governor bin Adyou expressed appreciation to government and political leadership's support to local authority in military, security, economic and service fields, pointing out to coordination with concerned bodies for facing floods' damages.
