King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center today signed with the World Food Program a joint cooperation program, worth 60 million US dollars, to meet the urgent food needs of the most needy groups in Yemen, according to the humanitarian response plan for the year 2021.

The program was signed Ksrelief's General Supervisor Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabiah, and the Executive Director of the World Food Program, David Beasley, on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the G-20 on humanitarian issues, which was held in Brindisi province, in Italy.

The program aims to secure 68,545 tons of food for more than 4,900,000 people suffering from acute food insecurity in the governorates of Al Dhale’, Al Bayda, Al Hodeidah, Al Jawf, Dhamar, Hajjah, Ibb, Saada, Sana’a, Sana’a City, Taiz, Abyan, Al-Mahra, Hadhramaut, Ma'rib, and lasts for 6 months.
