FM, French Ambassador discuss peace efforts

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak conferred today with the Ambassador of the Republic of France to the Republic of Yemen Jean-Marie SAFA over the political developments and the ongoing efforts to make peace, re-establish security and stability in Yemen.

Bin Mubarak stated that the technocrats government has been very keen to achieve the peace, national reconciliation and re-establish security and stability that all Yemeni peoples are desperately looking forward to.

He blamed Houthi militia for blocking peace efforts and continuing its aggression and ballistic missiles attacks on the civilians and IDPs in Marib.

The Foreign Minister stated that a comprehensive cease-fire is a humanitarian step must be achieved so that all issues can be addressed and go to an inclusive solution negotiations.

The French diplomat affirmed his country's support for Yemen and it will continue to contribute to the efforts to end, war, make peace. He also confirmed France's support for Yemen's unity, security and stability.
