Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ahmad Awadh Bin Mubarak discussed Wednesday with Egyptian Ambassador to Yemen Ahmad Farouk strategic relations between the two countries and means of boosting them.
Bin Mubarak touched upon peace process in the light of continuous aggression launched by Houthi militia on Marib and resulted complicated humanitarian conditions and continuous bloodshed, pointing out to strong struggle of the national army and the tribesmen in facing Houthi militia's death machinery.
He warned against current situation of Safir Oil Tanker under Houthi militia blackmailing approach it uses with the international community, pointing out to significance of taking serious action by the international community against Houthi militia and defining timely mechanism for solving this issue, which poses potential disaster on Yemen and international navigation.
The two parties also discussed situations of Yemeni community in Egypt and facilitations provided by Egyptian authority to Yemeni residents and visitors, in addition to Egyptian support to Yemen in field of training and qualification, including training diplomatic cadre to be commenced soon in the future.
For his part, the Egyptian diplomat renewed his country's condemnation to Houthi militia's terrorist aggressions against Yemeni people, confirming significance of finalizing efforts for realizing inclusive and permanent peace in Yemen.
He also confirmed Egypt's firm support to Yemen's unity, security and stability.
