MARIB-SABA
The spokesman of the Yemeni army Abduh Mujalli said on Saturday that the Houthis are continuing to target civilians across Yemen with deliberate attacks as part of the radical militia's years to seize government-held territories.
In a press conference, Brig. Gen. Abduh Mujalli said, "The Houthi militia are continuing terrorist attacks in a deliberate and systematic way targeting civilians and civilian properties in the [eastern] Marib city and the villages and IDPs camps around it."
He said the "recent attacks with ballistic missiles and armed drones has claimed the lives of dozens of civilians including children and women."
The militia, he said, are also "pushing ahead with firing shells and rockets against civilians and civilian places in the [western] province of Hodeidah especially the ditrits of Aldorayhimi, Hays and Altohayta."
He said the militia have also planted naval mines along the Red Sea coastline of Hodeidah "to incur damages to the public especially the fishermen and to threaten international shipping."
He said thousands of landmine have been removed from the sea and land in the provinces of Aljawf.
He said the army's "air defenses downed a Houthi drone over Jabal Murad area in Marib as the UAV was heading to attack civilians in the city."
Mujalli warned that the radical militia's acts amount to war crimes and the prosecution of the Houthi terrorists will not be
barred by the lapse of time.
