DOHA-SABA
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak contributed today to the consultative deliberations of Arab Foreign Ministers held in the Qatari capital Doha.
He provided a detailed presentation on the latest developments in Yemen and the peace process, blaming the putschist Houthi militia for rejection all proposals and calls for a cease-fire declaration.
He stated that the Houthi militias' continuous military escalation and attacks on the city of Marib constitutes clear evidence of its refusal to come to peace, blocking all regional and international efforts aiming to end the war in Yemen.
Bin Mubarak pointed out to the UN Panel of Experts recent report which indicated that the Houthis looted up to $1.8 billion in 2019 were basically allocated as the Yemeni government's revenues to pay salaries and provide the peoples with basic services, but the Houthis used to fund their warfare.
