Prime Minister Dr. Maeen AbdulMalik chaired a meeting for the governors of the liberated governorates devoted to discuss public service challeneg and the central and local efforts to address them.
The meeting, held via video conference today, conducted a comprehensive assessment of the local authorities' optimal use of oil derivatives grant provided by the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the implementation of the stipulated conditions and reforms, and the governance of the electricity sector.
In this regard the meeting emphasized the full commitment to fulfill the commitments related to reforming the electricity sector, especially in the collection of revenues and finding sustainable solutions by benefiting from this grant, as a prerequisite for its continuation.
