Bin Mubarak discusses with Omani minister peace efforts in Yemen

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ahmad Awadh Bin Mubarak discussed Monday with Minister of the Sultanate Office General Lieutenant Sultan Bin Mohammad al-No'mani reginal and international peace efforts in the light of UN initiative for ending the war, stopping bloodshed of Yemeni people and coordinating efforts of the two countries in this field.

The two parties confirmed deep-rooted relations between the two countries and exerting efforts for improving and boosting them.

Bin Mubarak praised the greatest role of Oman and its efforts for realizing the political settlement, convergence of views and pushing diplomatic efforts forward for ending the war and humanitarian effects despite Houthi militia's rejection to peace efforts launching military attacks on Yemeni people, especially on Marib.

Houthi militia should better seize these initiatives for realizing peace in Yemen, said Bin Mubarak, pointing out that the government made many concessions since the beginning of the war since the eruption of Houthi militia's triggered war on Yemeni people and its coup against the legitimacy on September 21/2014.

For his part, the Omani minister confirmed his country's firm position for supporting Yemen's unity and stability, pointing out to Omani role for realizing peace in Yemen and ending the war.
