The Military Court held its 14 public hearing in the criminal case numbering 4 for 2020 on accusing the so-called Abulmalik al-Houthi and 174 others of carrying out military coup against the republican system and the constitutional authorities, committing military and war crimes and spaying for Iran.
The session was presided over by Judge Aqil Tajuddin, the Head of the Third Military Court with presence of Prosecutor Salah al-Qumairi, the defense of defendants, the defense of the victims and relatives of the victims.
The court reviewed former decisions meanwhile the prosecution reviewed operational reports on a number of war crimes committed by Houthi militia, including continuous crimes of targeting civilians by ballistic rockets on Marib.
The court heard from a number of victims, whose houses were destroyed or bombed and were forcibly displaced by the militia and heard from eyewitnesses on those incidents and witnesses on outlaw killings, kidnapping and torturing imprisonment.
The prosecution demanded the court to inspect material evidence kept in the prosecution and include wreckage of rockets and drones, ordnance and mines Houthi militia used to target civilians.
The court ruled that the defense of the defendants and of the victims to provide more evidence they have and rule that the court move to inspect material evidence the prosecution keeps.
