The first session of the annual meetings between the Yemeni government and the mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) started today.
The discussions co-chaired by Minister of Finance Salim bin Boreik and the Head of the mission for Middle East and Central Asia Bert Reiner.
The sessions are being held via video conference from May 24 through June 3.
The meetings are devoted to discuss the objectives of the IMF's mission, the Yemeni government's top priority polices, the Central Bank of Yemen's top priority, economic developments, the government's financial resources, expenditures and debts, exchange rates, monetary sector, financial stability and health situation with Covid-19.
