Bin Mubarak, Cleverly discuss developments in Yemen

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak and the British Minister of State for Middle East and North Africa James Cleverly discussed here today the political developments in Yemen and the ongoing efforts aiming to make peace, re-establish security and stability.
Cleverly handed over a letter of congratulation from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi on the 31st Anniversary of the Republic of Yemen National Day.
Bin Mubarak briefed Cleverly on the efforts have been made recently to establish cease-fire to pave the way for establishing comprehensive and permanent peace in Yemen. He blamed Houthi militia for blocking those efforts, calling for pressuring the militia to come to peace.
The Foreign Minister highlighted the need for implementing Riyadh Agreement in full, unifying the two institutions of security and military to establish security and stability in the government-held governorates.
He also stressed the importance of enhancing the action of the Central Bank to help realizing the stability of the national currency, improve the peoples' living conditions.
The British Minister of State affirmed Britain's commitment to contribute to realizing peace in Yemen. He also confirmed Britain's support for Yemen's unity, sovereignty and stability.
