Yemen's Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ambassador Shay'a Azendani called on the OIC member states to move quickly to stop the Israeli occupation authorities' attacks on the Holly city of al-Quds and the military aggression of Gaza Strip.

His statement came as he contributed today to the emergency session held virtually to discuss the Israeli attacks on the Palestinian people and the Islamic sanctities.

Azendani confirmed the Republic of Yemen's principled stance in support of the Palestinian people in their legitimate struggle for establishing their own independent statehood with al-Quds as its capital within the borders of the 4th of June 1967.
