Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak and the Ambassador of the Peoples' Republic of China to the Republic of Yemen Kang Yong discussed today through phone call the latest developments in Yemen and the ongoing peace efforts.
Bin Mubarak highlighted the serious repercussions of the Houthi militia's continuous military operations on Marib governorate that further exacerbating the humanitarian suffering of the Yemeni people, mainly the IDPs in Marib.
He underscored the need for genuine pressures by the International Community upon the Houthi militia to stop its military escalation and reach peaceful solution to the conflict.
The Chinese Ambassador reaffirmed his country's principled position in support of Yemen, its unity, security, territorial integrity and the efforts aiming to achieve peace, re-establish security and stability in Yemen.
