FM blames Houthi militia for refusing to come to peace

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak held Iran-backed Houthi militia accountable for worsening the Yemeni peoples' suffering by rejecting all international and regional proposals for end the war in Yemen.
He voiced his remarks as he held a telephone discussions today with the Ambassador of the European Union (EU) to the Republic of Yemen Hans Grundberg.
The phone conversation focused on the ongoing efforts aiming to re-establish peace in Yemen.
Bin Mubarak called on the EU to contribute to pile up pressures upon Houthi militia to sit down to discuss peaceful settlement.
He stated that unless there is firm stance by the international community toward Houthis' intransigence they will never come to peace.
The European diplomat reiterated the EU's support for making peace in Yemen and for Yemen's unity, security and stability.
