he first cargo of oil fuels donation provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia arrived today, Saturday, in Aden seaport.
The first shipment includes 24 thousand tons and 400 tons of fuel oil out of total quantity 351 thousand tons and 304 tons, and 53 thousand tons of diesel out of total quantity 909 thousand and 591 tons.
The total cost of the fuels grant is $422 million provided through the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction in Yemen (SPDRY). It is set to operate more than 80 electricity generate stations.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik voiced deep thanks and gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its leadership for their generous support for Yemen and the Yemeni people.
