PM convenes meeting with military, civilian officials in Marib

Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdul-Malik held a meeting with the leadership of the Defense Ministry and the General Staff and a number of military leaders and governors of different provinces, to discuss the military situation on the battle fronts, and the governmental and popular support for this fateful battle until the restoration of the state and end the Houthi coup.

During the meeting, which included the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Muhammad Al-Maqdashi, Chief of the General Staff, Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Saghir bin Aziz, the Prime Minister reviewed reports on the conditions of the fighters of the National Army, popular resistance and tribesmen who undertake repelling the Houthi militia’s aggression in the outskirts of Ma'rib.

He affirmed the government's full support, under the directives of His Excellency President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi,

President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, for all needs and urgent requirements to support this steadfastness until the completion of the restoration of the state and ending the Houthi coup with support from the Arab Coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
