Yemen's Ambassador here Jamal al-Sallal discussed Wednesday with the Head of al-Jazeerah and Gulf Countries Department at Canadian Foreign Ministry latest developments in Yemen and Houthi terrorist militia's military escalation in Marib.
Al-Sallal pointed out that the internationally-recognized government has dealt positively with calls of international community and efforts of the United Nations for ending the war and realizing peace on the three internationally -agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216.
For his part, the Canadian official confirmed his country's support to the internationally recognized government and support to UN and its envoy's efforts for reaching peace ending suffering of Yemeni people, as well as continuous Canadian support to humanitarian situation in Yemen.
