Transport Minister chairs meeting on rehabilitating Aden International Airport

Minister of Transport, Dr. Abdul Salam Hamid, chaired an exceptional meeting in the temporary capital Aden today, on the plan and procedures to rehabilitate Aden International Airport.
The meeting reviewed the final arrangements related to the process of handing over sites at Aden Airport, which are scheduled to be rehabilitated, modernized and developed according to the airport development and modernization project funded by the Saudi program, which was signed on March 15, 2021 between the Ministry of Transport and the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen and the implementing company.
The Minister of Transport stressed the importance of concerting all efforts and overcoming difficulties that may hinder the progress of the airport modernization and development process.
