Prime Minister arrives in United Arab Emirates on official visit
Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik arrived Wednesday in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi on an official visit in response to an invitation from the leadership of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.

FM, British Ambassador discuss peace efforts

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak held virtual discussions with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Republic of Yemen Michael Aron.

The conversations covered a range of topics relating to the political developments in Yemen and the underway efforts to make peace.

Bin Mubarak reinstated that the Yemeni government is keen on realizing peace, re-establishing security and stability. He cited the Saudi proposal the government immediately welcomed to demonstrate its keenness to end Houthi militia's absurd war, restore security, stability and achieve national reconciliation.

Concerning to the humanitarian situation Bin Mubarak mentioned that several ships laden with fuels entered Hodeidah seaport even though Houthi militia refused to abide by Stockholm Agreement about using taxes and customs' returns to pay the salaries of the government's employees.

The Foreign Minister highlighted the importance of implementing security and military articles of Riyadh Agreement to establish security and stability in the government-held regions.

The British diplomat reiterated the UK's support for Yemen's unity, sovereignty, territorial integrity and the efforts have been made by the UN's Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths to reach political settlement in Yemen.
