Arab Parliament upholds Saudi suggestion to end the Yemeni crisis

Arab Parliament Speaker Adel al-Assoumi declared full support of the Saudi Arabia proposition intended to put an end of the Yemeni crisis and bring about a comprehensive political settlement.

A statement issued on Monday by al-Assoumi described the initiative as a clear applicable road map provides good opportunity to get a comprehensive solution to the Yemeni crisis.

The Speaker of Arab Parliament called on the International Community, namely the International Security Council to sustain this proposal and endorse it as action-plan to get the Yemeni crisis resolved since it is based on the three terms of reference the GCC's Initiative, its executive mechanism, outcomes of National Dialogue and the UNSCR 2216.
