The Organization of Islamic Cooperation or OIC has welcomed the Saudi initiative announced Monday for ending Yemen's crisis and reaching an inclusive political solution and ceasefire under the auspices of the United Nations.
The initiative comes in support to efforts of UN and US envoys to Yemen, the positive role of Oman and for pushing efforts for political solution forward.
The Secretary General of OIC Yousof al-Othaimeen praised Saudi efforts for realizing security and stability in Yemen and the region and ending Yemen's crisis.
He called all parties to accept the initiative for stopping bloodshed in Yemen and tackling humanitarian and economic situations suffered by Yemeni people.
