The Supreme Energy Council held its first meeting Thursday discussing a number of issues associated with improving electricity service and quick solutions for providing power to citizens during summer.
Presided over by Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik, the council discussed challenges facing electricity in Aden in terms of providing oil derivatives, generating outputs and alternatives for overcoming current challenges, making strategic solutions to generating energy and providing oil derivatives.
Prime minister confirmed that re-activating the council aims at creating sustainable solutions to electricity situation and adopting transparency whether in providing oil derivatives or buying energy in addition to making permanent solutions for improving generating energy for facing swift needs.
