Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Wa'id Batheeb held talks today with the Board of Directors of the UNDP and the UNDP Resident Representative in Yemen Oki Lutsma.

A number of the donors contributed to the discussions which held virtually via video conference.
The deliberations focused on the UNDP's programs, projects and activities which were carried out during the past couple of years.
The UNDP's new country program and interventions in 2021-2022 were also discussed.
The Minister highlighted the need for greater and urgent support by the UNDP to sustain the government's efforts aiming to manage economic hardships and push the development drive.
