The State of Kuwait pledged the provision of a two-year support for Yemen worth 20 million US dollars, from the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, in response to the urgent humanitarian and relief needs of the Yemeni people.
This was announced by Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Muhammad Al-Sabah, today, while heading his country's delegation participating in the high-level pledging event for Yemen, held at the invitation of the Swiss Confederation and the Kingdom of Sweden in cooperation with United Nations.
Minister Al-Sabah affirmed that his country will continue to support Yemen to deal with its humanitarian crisis.
