Foreign Minister of the State of Kuwait Ahmad Nasser al-Mohammad has renewed firm position of the State of Kuwait on providing different forms of support to Yemen and its people and exerting efforts for regaining security and stability.
He renewed keenness on regaining political order and reaching a political settlement on the bases of the three agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216.
In his meeting with the US Special Envoy to Yemen Tim Linder King on Monday, al-Mohammad stressed significance of the US role on ending Yemen's crisis, confirming support of the State Kuwait to the envoy for this purpose.
He urged the US envoy to exert efforts on Houthi militia to stop its aggression on cities and civil establishments, re-denouncing Houthi militia's continuous attacks on Saudi territories, posing a threat to Arab and Gulf national security.
For his part, the US envoy provided details on latest developments regarding the crisis in Yemen, praising efforts of the State of Kuwait in political and humanitarian domains in Yemen for regaining order in the country.
