Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullatif al-Zayyani received Sunday Yemen's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ahmad Awadh Binmubarak discussing with him mutual relations between the two countries and means of boosting and enhancing them.
Binmubarabk confirmed deep-rooted Yemeni-Bahraini relations and significance of coordinating positions of the two countries towards political developments in Yemen and working on realizing peace and stability in the region via activating strategic dialogue between the two countries and qualifying Yemeni diplomats.
He praised Bahraini position supporting the legitimacy in Yemen and efforts of regaining the state and ending Houthi militia's coup against the state.
For his part, al-Zayyani reaffirmed his country's support to Yemen and its legitimacy under President Hadi, confirming safety of international maritime navigation in the Red Sea and influx of humanitarian assistances.
He pointed out to significance of coordinating political situations between the two countries towards latest developments in Yemen and the region, expressing his country's readiness to provide necessary support to Yemen in different fields.
The two parties expressed their support to Saudi Foreign Ministry's release on the killing of the Saudi citizen Jamal Khashoqji and rejected any harm to Saudi Kingdom's sovereignty.
