Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubarak received today a telephone call from the Director General of Near and Middle East, Africa and Latin America Department in the German Foreign Ministry Ambassador Fillip Ackerman.
The telephone conversation dealt with the latest developments in the Yemeni arena and military escalation by the terrorist Houthi militia on Marib governorate.
Bin Mubarak blamed Houthi militia for blocking peace efforts, the ongoing military escalations on Marib, the UN-led efforts to handle Safer Oil Tanker's problem and prisoner exchange deal.
The German official affirmed his country's support for the unity, security and stability of Yemen. He stated that Germany is ready to contribute to the efforts aiming to reach political solution to the crisis in Yemen.
