Minister of Water and Environment Tawfeeq al-Sharjabi discussed Monday with Deputy Director of Kuwaiti Relief Agency Adel Ba'shen Aden's needs of water projects.
Al-Sharjabi touched upon challenges facing water sector, confirming significance of raising water production by digging alternative wells, qualifying a number of wells and unifying alternative energy resources at Aden water fields.
He praised Kuwaiti support to Yemen in different fields.
" Aden is in need of around 150,000 cubic meter {of water} for meeting people's needs, especially in summer," he said, confirming that water production does not exceed 80 cubic meter.
