ADEN - SABA
Yemen’s consultative body, the Shura Council, has called on the US, and the general international community “to take a serious stance against the Houthi militia’s” escalating crimes against civilians.
The Council said in a statement on Thursday, “While the government welcomed the ceasefire calls and peace talk offers with a sense of responsibility, the Houthi militia inflamed the fronts by launching a massive military operation on more than one front using Iranian arms; shelled neighborhoods and IDP camps; and targeted civilian properties in Saudi territories.”
It said, “The Houthi escalation in response to the US and international [recent] moves and calls for peace was a new evidence on the criminal essence of this dynastical racist militia.”
