Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Wa'id Batheeb met here on Tuesday with the Ambassador of the Peoples' Republic of China to the Republic of Yemen Kang Yong.

The Yemeni-Chinese bilateral cooperation in the economic, academic and technical domains was key focus of the discussions.
Dr. Batheeb explored further support and cooperation from the Peoples' Republic of China in the areas of economy and

development, more scholarships, easing visa measures for Yemeni businessmen.

The Chinese Ambassador affirmed his country's continuous support for the Yemeni people and the Yemeni government's efforts to realize economic stability and establish security.
