The Delegation of the European Union's mission headed by the Head of the Mission Hans Grunberg concluded Monday their visit to the transitional capital of Aden during which the European Union confirmed its support to the government of Yemen.
The European delegation which included ambassadors of Belgium, Germany, Ireland, France, Netherlands, Finland, Sweden and charge d'affairs of Norway to Yemen, met with Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik, ministers and representatives of civil society organizations and all discussed challenges facing Yemen and contribution in making response to them.
The ambassadors stressed significance of improving living conditions and encouraging government's efforts to combat corruption, confirming their support to efforts of the UN envoy to Yemen and the urgent need of reaching inclusive political settlement in Yemen.
The ambassadors renewed denunciation to Aden Airport's terrorist attack and praised the government's determination for staying in Aden to tackle challenges facing the country.
