The Government of Yemen has welcomed US President Joe Biden's speech, which confirmed significance of supporting diplomatic efforts for solving Yemen's crisis.
In a release to Yemen's Foreign Affairs Ministry on Friday, the government of Yemen welcomed appointing Tim Linder King as special envoy to Yemen and considered his appointing an important step taken by the US administration within efforts supporting the government and people of Yemen and ending Houthi-triggered war.
The government renewed full commitment on working with the Arab Coalition for reaching a political solution brining sustainable and inclusive peace to Yemen on the bases of the three references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216.
